He enjoys playing with light, colors, and black and white to bring his subjects to life and create dynamic, emotional images.

La tradition dans les temples japonais veut que l’on tire un « Omikuji », message signifiant « Réaliser la volonté de Dieu ». Celui-ci décidera si la nouvelle sera ponctuée de chance ou de malchance. Si le présage est mauvais, il est alors de coutume de le plier et de l’accrocher dans le temple pour déjouer le mauvais sort.
Japanese temple tradition dictates drawing an "Omikuji," a message meaning "To fulfill God's will." This will determine whether the news will bring good or bad luck. If the omen is bad, it is customary to fold the Omikuji and hang it in the temple to ward off misfortune.
A tradição dos templos japoneses dita o desenho de um "Omikuji", uma mensagem que significa "Para cumprir a vontade de Deus". Isto determinará se a notícia trará boa ou má sorte. Se o press ágio for mau, é costume dobrar o Omikuji e pendurá-lo no templo para afastar o azar.

Les « Yokocho » sont des ruelles très étroites, où les restaurants, marchands de street food et les bars se côtoient dans une ambiance chaleureuse et festive. Je déjeunais dans un de ces restaurants lorsque j’ai pris cette photo, mes voisins de table discutant avec le patron autour d’un verre de saké.
The "Yokocho" are very narrow alleyways where restaurants, street food vendors, and bars stand side-by-side in a warm and festive atmosphere. I was having lunch in one of these restaurants when I took this photo; my table neighbors were chatting with the owner over a glass of sake.
Os "Yokocho" são ruelas muito estreitas onde restaurantes, vendedores de comida de rua e bares estão lado a lado num ambiente acolhedor e festivo. Estava a almoçar num desses restaurantes quando tirei esta foto; os meus vizinhos de mesa conversavam com o dono enquanto bebiam um copo de saké.
