Laia Mauri

Laia is a woman who was born in a land of more shadows than lights, a July 45 years ago in the heart of a family from Lleida.

Since she was a child she has been a very delicate, loving, sweet person who loved playing in nature. Curious and restless, at the same time she is fascinated by learning and knowledge. She grew up in a family with many problems and in which Nature, animals and my surroundings were beautiful to me.

Laia grew up among puzzles, art, needles and textiles. She drew every day, and was always creating something different. Others would comment "what an imagination this girl has". In reality she was always making her mark, turning the normal into something more.

With a family caught between wars, and a grandmother who was a tailor who worked hard, Laia became a woman with solid values and with courage and bravery. Those values worked to make her the woman she is today.

In addition to her art, Laia has established a business designing custom handmade and one-of-a-kind apparel.

Laia é uma mulher que nasceu numa terra de mais sombras do que luzes, há 45 anos, num julho, no seio de uma família de Lérida.   Desde criança, ela era uma pessoa muito delicada, amorosa e doce, que adorava brincar na natureza. Curiosa e inquieta, ao mesmo tempo, era fascinada por aprendizado e conhecimento. Ela cresceu em uma família com muitos problemas e na qual a natureza, os animais e o ambiente ao meu redor eram lindos para mim.

Laia cresceu entre quebra-cabeças, arte, agulhas e tecidos. Ela desenhava todos os dias e estava sempre criando algo diferente. Outros comentavam: "Que imaginação essa menina tem!". Na realidade, ela sempre deixava sua marca, transformando o normal em algo mais.

Com uma família dividida entre guerras e uma avó alfaiate que trabalhava duro, Laia se tornou uma mulher com valores sólidos, coragem e bravura. Esses valores contribuíram para torná-la a mulher que é hoje.

Além de sua arte, Laia abriu um negócio de design de roupas personalizadas, feitas à mão e exclusivas.
