Elisabete Guerreiro
Elisabete Guerreiro Isabel (Faro, 1968) desenvolve trabalho nas áreas do desenho, pintura e artes plásticas, explorando temas ligados ao corpo, território, memória visual e expressão intuitiva. Vive entre o Algarve e Espanha, após ter passado 17 anos em Lisboa.
Formada em Educação Visual (ESEB, 1992) e Design de Equipamento (FAUL, 1994), aprofundou técnicas de desenho, pintura e escultura com vários artistas espanhóis, entre eles Pablo Lanuza, Irene Cuadrado, Coque Bayan e Eduardo Millán. Expõe regularmente desde finais dos anos 80, com presença em galerias e espaços culturais em Portugal, Espanha e países como Coreia do Sul, Arménia e Turquia. Participou em feiras de arte como ARTEXPOALGARVE (Loulé e Portimão) e Downtown Chiado (Lisboa).
O seu trabalho encontra-se representado pela Galeria Stronddo (Chiado – Lisboa), ArtloversAlgarve, Arte a Buen Puerto (Sevilha) e online na Saatchi Art. É membro da PAS – Peace and Art Society e integra coletivos transfronteiriços como “Luz de Mujer” e “Entre 2 Margens”.

Elisabete Guerreiro Isabel (Faro, 1968) develops work in the areas of drawing, painting and visual arts, exploring themes related to the body, territory, visual memory and intuitive expression. She lives between the Algarve and Spain, after having spent 17 years in Lisbon.
She holds a degree in Visual Education (ESEB, 1992) and Equipment Design (FAUL, 1994), and has deepened her drawing, painting and sculpture techniques with several Spanish artists, including Pablo Lanuza, Irene Cuadrado, Coque Bayan and Eduardo Millán. She has exhibited regularly since the late 1980s, with shows in galleries and cultural spaces in Portugal, Spain and countries such as South Korea, Armenia and Turkey. She has participated in art fairs such as ARTEXPOALGARVE (Loulé and Portimão) and Downtown Chiado (Lisbon).
Her work is represented by Galeria Stronddo (Chiado – Lisbon), ArtloversAlgarve, Arte a Buen Puerto (Seville) and online at Saatchi Art. She is a member of PAS – Peace and Art Society and is part of cross-border collectives such as “Luz de Mujer” and “Entre 2 Margens”.
