Nuno Caria Rodrigues
Nuno Caria Rodrigues born in Santarem is a ceramist and the founder of Projecto 13, a space dedicated to experimentation and ceramic creation in Silves. Trained in wheel-thrown pottery and creative ceramics at CENCAL in Caldas da Rainha, he completed internships in Portugal and France, deepening his studio practice and exposure to different ceramic techniques.
His work focuses on the collection and preparation of wild clays from the Silves region, derived from sedimentary formations, exploring the relationship between material, territory, and contemporary creation through experimental ceramic processes.
